Growing up I never dreamed about weddings but it was planning my own that inspired me to become a wedding photographer. Fast forward a few years, a heck of a lot of learning and expensive camera gear later, here I am living my dream of photographing weddings full time, and I still get a buzz out of it each and every time.
My absolute favourite weddings are hands down those that are an undeniable expression of the couple, whether that means embracing traditions or doing something completely crazy and different. That and weddings with dogs, they’re completely unpredictable but the best!
I LOVE what I do and take a great deal of pride in my work. I’m proud to have had my work featured in print in Brides of Adelaide and My Wedding Magazine and on some of the web’s best wedding blogs including Style Me Pretty, Magnolia Rouge, Polka Dot Bride and Hello May.
A FEW RANDOM FACTS
I can’t choose a favourite between coffee and tea, so I drink far too much of both.
I love good wholesome food but also happen to think cheese and wine is a legitimate dinner.
I love to travel. Anywhere and everywhere. Highlights so far include trekking with the gorillas in Uganda, going on safari in Kenya and getting engaged hiking the Inca trail in Peru.
I happily (albeit nervously) jumped out of a helicopter over the Swiss Alps once (and would love to again!) but could never in my wildest dreams bungee jump.
I love having fresh flowers in my home and have even been know to pick weeds if they’re pretty.
I’m obsessed with my dogs, the beautiful but crazy Hungarian Viszsla Zoe and the cheeky (and aptly named!) rescue boy, Scruffy the Schnauzer X.
I’m passionate about animal rescue and volunteer for SA Dog Rescue.
